What an absolute stunner ! 

With just 3 owners (2 of which in the same family) this is a UK car but lived in Spain for a while until repatriated in 2015. Showing a modest 120,900 miles. We've got the original build sheet and invoice - this was over £21k in 2003 ! 

These are genuine 18' JCW R95 Alloys, they've just been professionally refurbished and finished in metallic graphite and complimented with new Toyo tyres all round.

A genuine JCW Aero bumper, Grilles and new Wipac spotlights to the front.

There's no rust in the usual areas at the rear. As a preventative measure the underside including the sub-frames have been throughly cleaned and treated.

Finished in Pure Silver (now quite rare) with a contrasting Jet Black roof and black accents Including an original JCW bonnet and bumper grille. 17' Bullet Alloys and premuim tyres.

It's just had a (Teflon) supercharger service with all the seals / gaskets, a new waterpump, expansion tank, coolant flush and replacement, fan resistor, drive-belt, rocker cover gasket and a comprehensive service.

We often put them through an MOT allowing a fail to highlight any issues, then we go right through it addressing these. 

Now with an MOT until April 26 with new track-rod ends etc. The sub-frames have been cleaned off and treated as a preventative measure.

There's no rust in the usual places on the boot lid or rear lights. 

This near immaculate interior has just had a seats out deep clean. The half leather seats steam cleaned with the leather sections treated and fed.

This was in weekend and fun use but now sadly it's time to say goodbye.

NONE of that here.... It had a professional paint correction and ceramic coating, this will never suffer from that again.

With just 91,182 miles this sought after pre-facelift 1st Generation R53 is truly remarkable.

It's not totally original, having a replacememt exhaust, a bluetooth head unit and a later 3 spoke steering wheel (we can supply an original 2 spoke if required but why would you?)

We're not going to carry out any modifications or fiddle with it at all. 

It's offered 'as is' for the next custodian to do as they see fit.

Last serviced in April 24 at 90,166 Miles and MOT'd to Jan 25. We will put a fresh one on before sale.

This drives so well.... an easy starter, a nice slick gear change and with recent brake disks it stops well too. The supercharger is on-song with a reduced pulley and waterpump replaced by a previous owner (Yes we've checked it's all OK) It whips along with no lags and feels so fresh.

Sorry now SOLD .Launched in 2005 the CHECKMATE special edition ran until the R53 ended in Nov 2006. They exclusively feature Space Blue Metallic paint, 17″ Flame spoke alloys. Additional MINI options that feature as standard: limited slip differential, Cruise Control, storage compartment pack, front foglights, on-board computer, interior lights pack, anthracite headlining & xenon headlights.

Most of the original CHECKMATE decals have been deleted for a cleaner look. The bodywork is exceptional & we've dealt with a couple of small rust patches on the rear.

The Dark Silver matching roof is quite unusual. 

To say this bodywork is 'clean' is an understatement; it's EXCEPTIONAL !

No rust, no dings or scrapes and barely a stone-chip.

The 'Bullet' Alloys are shod with decent tyres all round. 

It was sold to a neighbour last year (a mature gent) who just doesn't use it enough so he's asked we find it a new home.

This is a lovely well appointed interior boasting a Panoramic Roof (yes we've checked & cleared the drains just in case) Dark Silver dash inserts with matching rings and trims.

Climate Control,  Trip Computer, Bluetooth Stereo, Immaculate Half Leather Seats and of course it had our seats-out full deep clean.

This is a 2004 - Special Edition. 

A supplying dealer in 2008 confirmed it had JCW tuning to 200-BHP. 

There are some JCW upgrades like the full AERO kit with colour coded wheel arches, an 11% ALTA pulley, JCW exhaust and supercharger cover.

Why the LOHEN stripes? The tuning firm do not hold records dating back this far so we cannot say....

It's just had a new Clutch and Slave Cylinder.

A new Nissens Radiator and complete Fan assembly.

The condition is exceptional. There's NO RUST and hardly a mark on the newly ceramic coated paintwork. 

New quality tyres sit on these immaculate 17' 'Bullet' alloys.

The interior had our usual seats-out full on deep clean. The seats had a  shampoo and steam clean, whilst the leather has been treated and the little scuffs dealt with. YUP - OCD but all the better for it.

Everything works in here, there's no nasty marks, stains, rattles or squeaks.

It's all standard in here, with the added bonus of the optional trip computer. Being a late 2004 it's just prior to the official 'Facelift' so it's gained a 3-Spoke Steering Wheel and some of the other minor tweaks soon to be introduced across the range.

The original JCW Exhaust gives off a nice 'burble' and not so loud that you'll fall out with the neighbours.

You may have noticed the rear wiper delete. It gives the rear end a sleeker look, but It's easily reversed if that's not your thing.

This is an absolute stunner!

The rare Power Folding Mirrors are a nice bonus.

A full super-charger service, with replacement water-pump. A new radiator, thermostat and housing as well as a fresh MOT and full service with premuim parts and oil.

The power steering pump was replaced prior to our involvement.

It's truly spotless in here.

No rattles or annoying squeaks, everythings nice and tight and works as it should.

Although it doesn't detract from the stunning looks we should point out that the boot lid has some minor (common) rust spots and the rear bumper some tiny hairline cracks. 

This is factored into the price, we could get this attended to for a further £450. 

BUT we thought we'd offer it 'as is' for those with a tighter budget, these minor imperfections can always be done later when funds allow.

And this does sound amazing, not too loud that it'll annoy your neighbours ...but you'll find yourself driving with the windows down and the radio OFF !

CJ53 - A late 2003 model with some crossover features (like the 3-Spoke Steering Wheel) found on the later 2004 - on Facelift R53's.

The last lady owner had this for 12 years. There's  2 keys, a nice service history, all the books and the original toolkit.
